Air & Sea imports arriving from non EU countries can be cleared through customs within minutes once reported as having arrived in Ireland. This applies to all Irish air & sea ports where a Customs & Excise station exists.
Likewise for exports by air or sea to destinations beyond the EU we transmit our export customs entry requesting their permission to release cargo for export which is returned to us within minutes as green to go in almost all circumstances.
