When the delivery time is not critical and air freight is not required using our deep sea freight service impacts greatly in reducing freight costs.
LCL (Less than Container Load)
Export departures are every Friday so we will require having the cargo in our possession by latest Thursday of each week. Shipment is then transferred by feeder vessel to main European hub for on-forwarding to final destination via main shipping vessel. Transit time and pricing is destination specific and subject to size of your shipment.
LCL imports can also be arranged though our worldwide agency network. To quote and arrange shipment all we require is the global origin point, number of pieces, L x W x H per piece in inches or centimetres, overall weight of specific shipment.
FCL (Full Container Load)
Whether importing or exporting when there is a large quantity of cargo notable savings can be achieved by using the full container option. Equipment sizes and types are varied to suit the commodity. Regular equipment includes 20ft, 40ft standard, 40ft High-Cube and 45ft containers. Other “open” equipment types are available when over-sized cargo will not fit into a box container.
For exports feeder vessel departures are weekly from Cork or Dublin ports to main European hub, connecting on the fist available main vessel departure. Transit time and pricing is destination specific.
FCL imports can also be arranged using aforementioned process as LCL imports outlined above.
